Abstract:
Presentation relating to and based on the work of the SRELS team during the past six months to develop Indian language (Kannada and Tamil) user interfaces to Greenstone Digital Library (GSDL) collections. This project has been assigned to and supported by eIFL, Netherlands. It is part of the South Asia GSDL Network development Programme.
The team will present some of the language collections developed under the project; the steps in the preparation of the interfaces and related problems and issues; and collaboration with the GSDL team at the University of Waikato in New Zealand
This lecture is being organized in collaboration with SRELS. We take this opportunity to thank SRELS for their support to KALA's activities.
